报告摘要:
This presentation will provide an overview of the publications portfolio of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC). This portfolio includes eight of the main journals in the control field as well as the IFAC PapersOnline Proceedings Series, all of which are available on the ScienceDirect platform.
A summary will be given of how journals operate and what roles authors, reviewers and editors play in the processing of submissions.
The presentation will close with a number of developments, of interest to control and automation community, that impact on the academic publications landscape. These include an increasing demand for open-access publication that might have a significant impact on future publication business models.
